Long Beach Half Marathon Training
RUNNING 201 Long Beach Half Marathon, the Running Academy Half-Marathon Training Course, is ideal for first time Half-Marathoners, as well as veteran half-marathoners who enjoy group training.
We recommend that you have either completed RUNNING 103,or have been running regularly for at least three months before considering this Course. Note that Race Registration, including fees, must be done separately by the participant and is not included in Academy enrollment.
We will conduct a fitness evaluation the first day of your training to determine which Pace Group is most appropriate for you.
In this Course you will be doing Long Runs once a week with your Pace Group (Saturday or Sunday, depending on your location), and also following a training schedule requiring four other runs during the week.
Coach-less fun runs are available on Monday and Wednesday evenings with A Snail's Pace Running Club Visit website www.ASnailsPace.net for club locations
The goal of RUNNING 201 is to get you to the finish line of your half marathon injury free.
